Stamp Out Sports Rage – Guide for Parents

Please read and act responsibly.

  • Remember the players want to have fun.
  • They do not need everyone yelling at them
  • Referees will make mistakes-especially in NonComp-they are learning.
  • At the SGFA meeting this Monday we have found out that 80% of first year referees (these are cadets who ref the Non Comp) do not return with almost all citing verbal abuse from spectators as the main reason they do not come back. If we want referees we need to respect them and give them a chance to learn IT IS AFTER ALL NON COMP.

Training Schedule with World Class Football – Starts this Tuesday

Coaches,

Each team will have one of the World Class football coaches taking your team for an academy training session within the following month.

Please make sure that your team is available for the training at your allocated time. Be there early as sessions need to start on time. You do not need to do anything else, just turn up with your team to your regular spot and Joe and his team will run the session for you.

You are encouraged to take notes and ask questions. Learn from the experience and take it back to your own sessions.

This academy schedule has been formulated based on the current training schedule posted on the Bexley North web site. If you have changed your scheduled time or training area and not informed the club you will not be guaranteed an academy training slot and it will not be rescheduled.
